Diana and John were legally married for ten years before getting married in the church of their faith. This is my favorite image from their wedding ceremony at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. It is not the vows, or the first kiss, or the happy recessional, rather it is a quiet moment of prayer, watched over by all the saints.
Lord, grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love.
