Her handsome groom, now husband, stands silhouetted looking upon her. This photo didn’t make my original edit for Susan and Josh’s wedding blog post, but I love it all the same. Perfect for my weekly Encore! series.  I love taking photos of the bride getting ready. But weddings are about both the bride and groom. Grooms matter! One of my favorite weddings was Bailey and Aleksey’s celebration at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. I took a quick photo of Aleksey adjusting his tie before the first look.  Heather and Jacques were married in the beautiful St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange. Their ceremony was at sunset so we only had a few minutes for photos and then night overtook us.
