Los Angeles, California I met the lovely Cristina and Juan for some engagement portraits.
  It was super hot outside! We found refuge in the shade of a bamboo oasis.
  The cute couple relaxes on some benches.

I love making photo albums. My philosophy is: Your photos will tell your story. Part of that is creating albums unique to you, whether for your wedding, birthday party or even portrait session. One idea is to make a story book for a kid’s birthday party.

Brentwood, California This is Brooke, the cutest little girl ever. She just celebrated her 1st birthday with a big party. And her mom asked Polka Photos to take pictures of it all.
Brooke’s mom threw one stylish party, complete with lots of balloons, including a capital B, a huge cupcake, and polka dots.
What would a birthday party be without cake?

Los Angeles, California Michael and I went to see the awesome Cirque Berzerk, a spectacle of acrobats, contortionists, trampoline artists and more. A demented Cirque du Soleil – think goth and burlesque, sex and death – all of the artists were simply amazing. I held my breath as they performed without a net. If you’re in the LA area, their run has been extended – I highly recommend you check them out.
