Can’t resist sharing one more photo of the gorgeous Kate. I love her make-up and she rocks this birdcage veil. With her Old Hollywood style I knew the photo had to be black & white to complete the vintage look.
P.S. This is my weekly blog post Encore! When I blog about a wedding, I want all the photos to tell a story. Sometimes photos I love don’t quite fit, or I decide to edit them differently. Encore! will feature one (or two!) of those photos every Friday.
After our portrait session, the bridal party and the newlyweds make their grand entrance. We have toasts, and yummy cake, and an 80’s cover band. Now this is a rockin’ reception!
This cake is amazing! And I love the vintage cake topper!
This is my favorite photo from the first dance. The lighting is so dramatic yet romantic.
Father-daughter dance.
The man of honor has me laughing all night long.
Isn’t that view incredible?
Congratulations again to Kate & Eric!

Kate and Eric love going out to eat in Little Tokyo so it’s no surprise they chose to have their wedding at Yamashiro Hollywood. Yamashiro is known for its Asian-inspired food and breathtaking views. Perfect spot for a romantic date – or a wedding!
Their wedding ceremony is held outdoors in the Japanese garden overlooking the koi pond. Guests sit at tables around three sides of the garden so everyone has a great view of the ceremony, which is officiated by Eric’s aunt.
The bride looks radiant as she walks down the aisle to her happy groom. They can’t stop smiling throughout the ceremony. After the “I do’s,” we catch the last rays of the golden hour. Perfect day.
Congratulations Kate and Eric!

Kate and Eric chose to see each other before their wedding ceremony. The last photo from the first look is one of my favorites from their wedding. It’s a quiet moment full of love.

Eric is a fun groom and just as sweet as his beautiful bride.
While Kate is getting ready, Eric chills out with his groomsmen.
The bride made an awesome book for her groom listing all the reasons she loves him.
The groom’s mom pins the boutonnieres.
Eric is ready.
A few more minutes for the first look!
