Celene and Michael held their wedding reception at the Center for the Arts in Eagle Rock. The historic building is in the Mission Revival style which complements their Mexican-inspired reception perfectly. The bright space is decorated with colorful flowers, papel picado, vibrant tiles as table numbers and a wedding cake topped with a calavera cake topper.

If you like the idea of a Mexican-themed wedding but don’t want to go all out like the lucha libre wedding I shared recently, you can add small touches like these.

My favorite part of every wedding reception is the first dance.

In the middle of the dance, Michael starts serenading his bride.

I love her reaction!

The dancing continues all night long.
