Getting Ready for a Wedding

Most of the couples I photograph plan their wedding for 12-18 months. Chris and Alyssa did it in less than 3 weeks. Chris’ awesome mom Melinda did a lot of the wedding planning. She was worried about getting everything ready in time. The wedding came together beautifully – it was perfect!

Now meet the real Alyssa and Chris. This couple was smiling and laughing throughout the entire day.

If I were to sum up the couple in three words they would be: happy, relaxed, and devoted to their family.

They say when you marry your spouse, you marry his or her family. Chris is already like part of his bride’s family and gets a group hug from his father-in-law and sister-in-law.

I love this photo of Alyssa hugging her youngest sister with her older sister in the background. Chris told me that on their second date, the youngest sister told him he was going to marry Alyssa and have three kids.
